    The top and the base

The top comes in two sections joined end to end, with butterfly keys across the joint and a flush metal grommet plate in the middle of each section. Underneath, three wide steel plate legs stand crosswise, tied together by two box beams that run the length of the table just under the top. The steel is powder-coated black.
