Bring us the project. We'll bring the tree.

Real slabs your client can stand next to, a presentation they'll say yes to, and updates you can forward, from the tree to the install.

What you get

Six things, and no portal to log into. Just a text when something moves.

  • The yard

    Walk it with your client

We pull the slabs that fit your plan before you get here, then hold the one your client picks.

Paso Robles, Tuesday through Thursday, by appointment only

    Held for 30 days

  • Samples

    A kit of real wood

Real wood from our yard, once you're approved: the six woods we build with most, plus a steel finish chip.

    Mailed or dropped off

  • Presentations

A page your client says yes to

Concept images of the actual slab in their room, the options side by side, and a walkthrough video. Dimensioned drawings for your set.

One private page per client, co-branded with your studio

  • Updates

    Progress you can forward

Photos and short videos at every stop: the slab, the mill, the kiln, the shop and the install.

By text, ready to pass along

  • Site trees

Trees from the job, built back in

Trees coming down on your project? We assess them, mill and dry them, and design them back into the house.

Usually 12 to 18 months from log to finished piece, so call us early

  • Contact

    Your project never gets lost

One of our team members manages your project stage by stage, from the first plan to the install. You always have someone to ask, and your questions get answered on time.

How a trade project runs

  1. Send us the plan

Drawings, dimensions, room photos and a budget range.

  2. Pick the slab

At the yard with your client, or from your project page. We hold it.

  3. Approve the concept

Concept images and a drawing. Nothing gets cut until you sign off.

  4. We build

Our own team builds the wood and the steel. Photos come to you at every stop.

  5. We install

    Delivered and set in place.

In your terms

Designers

  • Your client picks the tree

Walk the yard together. They stand next to the actual slab before anything is designed around it.

  • You present, we back you up

A private page with concepts, options and a video, co-branded with your studio, so the yes happens in your meeting, not ours.

  • Updates you can forward

Photos at every stop, from the slab to the install, so you can keep your client posted without chasing us.

Architects

  • Drawings for your set

Dimensioned drawings and a spec sheet for every piece: plan, elevations, species, finish and base.

  • Sizes you can count on

Every dimension is checked against your drawings, and nothing gets cut until you sign off.

  • Site trees, back in the building

Trees coming out for the project? We mill and dry them, then design them back into the building as tables, mantels and bars.

Builders

  • A schedule you can build on

A start date, a delivery window, and a call from us if anything moves.

  • Install that works with your crew

We build the wood and the steel ourselves, then deliver and set the piece around your site schedule.

  • Paperwork before we start

A written scope, a W-9, and a certificate of insurance on request.
